In the current climate with so much global upheaval and suffering, it’s all too easy to feel conflicted when considering personal comfort.

But it’s also important to acknowledge your own needs on a long haul flight especially if you’re dealing with a condition like arthtitis or some kind of vascular disease for example. Extra leg room is essential.

Taking care of yourself is normal and I consider that travelling in comfort is a valid choice, while holding compassion and awareness for the suffering in the world and supporting causes I care about.

There are inevitable perks in Club.

Who doesn’t enjoy the luxury of priority check-in and boarding . You don’t have to wait until the designated check-in time and if you arrive a few hours early, you can go straight to a club class lounge to enjoy amenities like comfortable sitting areas and unlimited food /drinks of choice.

Business class passengers are typically treated to a higher quality of meals and a wider selection of beverages.

Some of the inflight ‘extras’ include face masks, socks and overnight toiletries. You can enjoy fully reclining (bed) seats, inflight movies, and wi fi for the duration of the journey

Obviously the benefits of flying business class come at a higher cost compared to economy class. So, it ultimately depends on your preferences, budget, and the length of your journey.

I know for me, with developing arthritic pain it was a no brainer. Although I’d only consider it long haul. And so now it’s time to recline the chair and watch a movie.

Buonanitte a tutti!
